Welcome To Lazarus House Ministries
Lazarus House Ministries Celebrates 25 Years of Serving our Brothers and Sisters In Need 1983 - 2008
Thank you to all of our special friends and neighbors who generously donated
much needed food, funds and grocery gift cards. It is because of you and
your incredible kindness that we were able to feed so many people at
Thanksgiving and now, at Christmas. May God bless you and your family this
holiday season and throughout the New Year.
Through the generosity of our supporters, Lazarus House Ministries touches
the lives of the poor and homeless by providing hot meals,
temporary shelter, job training, child care, emergency food, clothing, outreach and advocacy.
Lazarus House Ministries provides the broadest continuum of services to those in need in our area.
Our guests are empowered to overcome poverty and crisis, to become more productive members of the community.
We help people take charge of their lives, rebuild their families and move
beyond poverty, out of crisis and into the mainstream.
Since opening its doors as a temporary homeless shelter in 1983,
Lazarus House Ministries has been fighting poverty from its base in Lawrence,
MA, one of the poorest areas in the country, and the poorest in New
England. Over the years our supporters have responded to the needs of
this community by providing the financial support to expand our programs
to provide the necessary services that allow us to provide comprehensive
solutions that positively impact more and more people in need.

"I, your Lord and Teacher, have just washed your feet.
You, then, should wash one another's feet. I have set an example for you
so that you will do just what I have done for you." - John 13: 12-15
